About the case

Vopak is an independent Dutch multinational company that stores and manages products ranging from chemicals, oil, gases and LNG to biofuels and vegetable oils. The company was created by the merger of Van Ommeren and Pakhoed in 1999.

It has a network of 78 terminals in 23 countries, and seeks to improve access to cleaner energy and raw materials for a growing global population, ensuring the safe, clean and efficient storage and handling of bulk liquid products and gases.

Challenge

Implement at the Alemoa terminal, the Port of Santos and the Port of Aratu, in Bahia, an access control system capable of integrating with the system from Unisolutions (Corporate), which controls movement
in the yard, movement of loading and unloading of products (making the weighing vehicles) and other tax obligations of the port. In addition Furthermore, the Invenzi solution integrates with Corporate to send the
vehicle and driver movement information.
